A2 size work flows creatively with this Professional Artist Quality tool. The excellent thermostat allows control of surface temperature from ambient to 100 degrees Celcius. This opens up a whole new world for the encaustic artist to use either the standard Stockmar wax blocks or the tins of MPO paste wax. The glass top is easy to clean but should not be used for heating tins of wax containing more that 1 – 2 cm of wax

BEWARE damar resin type waxes have a higher melt point that the Stockmar wax blocks.
