Art on Walls Exhibition

Art on Walls is 3 women artists who came together through friendship to share their love of painting, drawing and creating with others.

Kellie Hornby-Howell.  From behind a chattering mind, art for me brings solace. Based in Newcastle/Lake Macquarie my preference is acrylic paint. I also enjoy dabbling in ink and oil. Inspired by this incredible living world of ours. I endeavour to capture the uniqueness and beauty of a single moment.

Julie Elizabeth Short.  My art is a visceral experience, harnessing the affective potential of colour and texture encapsulating the ebb and flow of human emotion. I mostly work in acrylics. Through bold brushstrokes and evocative compositions, I am hoping to touch the soul and foster an understanding between artist and observer.

Jen Williams.  My passion for life colours and textures in acrylic and oils. It’s the sweeping brushstrokes on canvas that connects me to my love of nature. I feel it as I create – each sitting warming and fun, exploring the tones and depth – interpreting the knowingness the scene has given me.
