Buying and shipping
This page is how buying from us actually works, start to finish. The short version: you find the piece here, the checkout happens at our store, and shipping inside Australia is included in the price.
Find the piece
Browse the wall on this site, by artist or by series. Every work is named to the artist who made it, with its medium, size and price on the label.
Press buy
The buy button takes you to our store at tinkat.com to finish the order. Payment happens there, handled by the payment provider, and card numbers are never held by this website.
It comes to you
Artwork ships anywhere in Australia with shipping included in the price. Nothing gets added at the checkout for delivery.
Come and see it first
You are welcome to stand in front of a piece before deciding. The gallery is open Wednesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm, closed January and public holidays.
Shipping included in Australia
That is the promise on our wall and it means what it says: the price on the label is the price delivered, anywhere in the country. Buying from overseas? Contact us for a rate before you order, every parcel is different and we will not guess at it.
Worth knowing before you buy
The store checkout is the order
This website is the gallery's catalogue. The order itself, the price at the moment you pay, your confirmation and your receipt all come from our store at tinkat.com. If a price here and the store ever differ, the store's is the current one.
The copyright stays with the artist
When you buy a painting you own the painting, and the artist keeps the copyright in the image. That is how our co-operative works and it is written at the bottom of every page here.
Originals sell once
Most of what hangs here is an original, so when it sells, it is gone. If you are weighing one up and want to know it is still available, ring us rather than waiting on email.
Cards, prints and supplies
The shop also carries cards, prints and studio art supplies. They describe their own packing and postage in the product listing, and the listing's word is the one that counts, some carry their own freight loading in the price.
Rather collect it?
If you would prefer to pick a piece up from the gallery in Fassifern instead of having it shipped, ask us when you order and we will arrange it with you.
If something arrives wrong
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law apply to every purchase. If a piece arrives damaged or something is not right, ring the studio straight away and we will work out what happens next with you.
Ask us, we would rather you did
Overseas rates, whether a piece is still on the wall, collecting instead of shipping, anything at all. It is a small studio and a phone call usually settles it on the spot.
